Cobbold Gorge
Cobbold Gorge is on a fairly remote cattle station in North Queensland. Despite its remoteness the owners have set up a first class tourist attraction complete with on site accommodation. The tourism has also revived the nearby town of Forsayth where we are staying.
We had a great day at Cobbold Gorge starting with a bush tucker walk, a tour of the gorge in a battery powered punt then back to the resort for lunch. After lunch we tried out the pool (a bit cold) and I had a canoe paddle on the lake.
